Pete is an executive coach and facilitator who applies the science of positive psychology to help individuals, teams, and organizations be more engaged, effective and productive.  His  passion is coaching senior executives, rising leaders, teams, and organizations that are navigating challenges and charting new directions.

Pete has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Minnesota and a Master’s of Applied Positive Psychology (MAPP) degree from the University of Pennsylvania.  He received his coaching certification from the Hudson Institute of Santa Barbara.

Pete has 25+ years and more than 4,000 hours experience with individual coaching, as well as facilitation, and human resources experience. He was executive VP of human resources at Courage Center, a nationally respected healthcare agency.  He is adjunct faculty with the St. Thomas Executive Coaching Certificate program.

Pete and a partner created Shift Positive 360®, a unique way of gathering and giving feedback that is more effective and enjoyable. Pete is determined to bring the benefits of positive psychology into the feedback process.
